Re "Meet and Eat" Dining Out review (Jan. 11): I realize that it is legal to raise, kill and eat rabbits as food. But let me remind the Magazine that there are far more people sensitive nowadays to various "conditions" as far as animals and food are concerned.

For those of us who share our lives and homes with pet rabbits, a review like Michael Bauer's is just like reading about a dish of dog meat or cat meat.

Please be sensitive to your readers and know that there are many of us out here who believe that rabbits are not food, they are companion animals -pets just like a dog or a cat.

Me thinks that Mzz Parson hasn't ever traveled to Asia, where both dogs and cats are used as food.
